X-RAYS ARE NOT ROUTINE
I DO NOT routinely x-ray every one of my patients. A radiographic examinations should be based on history and physical findings. The potential diagnostic benefits of performing x-rays must be weighed against the risk of ionizing radiation. Routinely x-raying all patients as a screening procedure is not appropriate.
REFERRAL IF NECESSARY If after your initial consultation evaluation, I determine your condition needs a referral to another specialist or a specialized diagnostic test like an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) – I will not hesitate to refer you. If after a trial program of chiropractic care (usually 2-4 weeks), you are not improving a referral to a specialist will be done. Your health is our primary concern. |
